It takes a vast amount of research, patience and persistence to get a small-business operation off the ground and on the road to success. Yet, it’s the entrepreneurs who fully embrace this challenge who help create the foundation for long-term small-business economic health in Nevada.
NCET, Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, encourages people to start their own businesses and connects them with the resources they need. We work in conjunction with a number of state and local organizations — including Nevada’s Commission on Economic Development — to provide a variety of resources to startups and small businesses.
We understand the highly specialized needs of this unique demographic, which is why we’re proud to present the annual Entrepreneur Week (eWeek) Nevada and the NCET Entrepreneur Expo.
Presented by NCET, eWeek Nevada is a weeklong series of events designed to recognize and promote entrepreneurial endeavors in the Silver State. Greater Reno-Tahoe’s celebration of eWeek kicks off March 10 at the Desert Research Institute and culminates in a free, open-to-the-public Entrepreneur Expo on March 15.
The NCET Expo connects entrepreneurs with small-business experts statewide who make themselves available to share information, provide guidance and offer “one-stop-shopping” for business startups.
