Nominations sought: RGJ’s Entrepreneur of Year
The Reno Gazette-Journal is accepting nominations for this year’s Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.

The awards recognize the outstanding leaders at all levels of business — from small companies with less than five employees to large companies employing more than 20.
The nomination period runs from Feb. 13-27. The winners in four categories will be selected Feb. 28 by a panel of judges that includes managers from the Gazette-Journal and RGJ.com and selected honorees from last year’s program.
The winners will be announced on Sunday, March 9, on RGJ.com and in the Gazette-Journal.
The awards will be presented on March 10 at the Kick-off to the Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology’s Northern Nevada Entrepreneurship Week 2008.
There are four award categories:

Small business: Less than five employees.

Medium business: five to 20 employees.

Large business: more than 20 employees.

Best new entrepreneur: companies formed in 2006 or later.
