Each week, Dave and KLAV’s Bruce Garrett will talk about eWeek Nevada and the upcoming NCET Entrepreneur Expo.

eWeek Nevada — February 22 - 28 — includes a week-long series of events that celebrates Nevada’s entrepreneurs and small business. NCET Entrepreneur Expo is Friday, February 27 at the South Point Hotel. The Expo includes 75 - 100 exhibitors and 25 speakers — in English and Spanish — all there to help jump-start small businesses. It’s free and open to the public and runs from 8 am until 7 pm.

Dave Archer, CEO of NCET, Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, has 30 years of market and product development experience in the US and international markets with Viacom, Netscape and Time Warner. Dave helped develop high-speed Internet services, Pay-Per-View and home shopping. Dave was recently named “Nonprofit Executive of the Year,” and the LAs Vegas Chamber of Commerce named NCET its “Nonprofit of the Year.” Dave is the recipient of the “Reno-Tahoe American Marketing Association’s “Marketer of the Year,”, and is the past president of the Reno-Tahoe American Marketing Association Chapter.
