Plan to hold your event during eWeek Nevada 2010

December 17th, 2009

Las Vegas – February 13 – 21, 2010

Reno – March 6 – 14, 2010

Nevada was built by entrepreneurs.  That entrepreneurial spirit is alive today, with 95% of Nevada’s companies having fewer than 20 employees.  Recent studies show that Nevada’s future economic growth, vitality and diversity will continue to be depend on small businesses. The goal of eWeek (or Entrepreneurship Week) is simple: Celebrate and encourage Nevada’s entrepreneurs — and aspiring entrepreneurs.

eWeek is coordinated by NCET, Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, a statewide organization that connects Nevadans to the resources they need to succeed.

Las Vegas and Reno hold separate eWeeks. During eWeek, many regional organizations — ranging from large firms to nonprofits — hold events that include open houses, seminars, and meet-and-greets. The events during eWeek should act as educational opportunities for prospective entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs and small business owners.

NCET then promotes these eWeek events in emails, on websites, and in the material sent to media outlets throughout the state.

For more information, please contact NCET’s Emily Somerville at Emily@NCET.org or
